Missions

The Event & Wedding Manager is responsible for all its event and wedding operations and administrative tasks (before/during/after the wedding).


The Event & Wedding Manager assists the DOSM and all DOSs as needed.


I. RUNNING OF THE EVENTS TEAMS :

  • Supervise daily operations for the running of events team including all groups of 10+rooms, parties of 10+ guests, events and weddings at the Resort.

  • Manage Events team in terms of scheduling / planning, responsible for the team’s well being, training and productivity as well as HR duties

  • Responsible for maximizing Events department revenue, including forecasting, budgeting, tracking and accounting duties

  • Optimize upselling opportunities

  • Liaise with the Sales & Marketing team for the creation and development of brochures, social media and PR projects.

  • Maintain a good partnership with the department’s vendors and third parties

II. RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL WEDDING & GROUP PLANNING AND OPERATIONAL COORDINATION:

  • Liaise and maintain good partnerships and relationships with in-house departments, vendors, third parties and Clients

  • Handle daily emails with in-house departments, vendors, third parties and Clients

  • Maximize revenue generating opportunities

  • In charge of contracting and administrative duties with vendors, third parties and Clients


Manage all wedding and event related operations and coordination personally along with the Events Intern, including planning Guests’ weddings, vow renewals, proposals, etc. Selling and planning groups ahead of their stay, hosting HOD meetings, creating group resumés and BEOs ahead of a group arrival, entering room reservations, contract negotiation, making supplier and vendor bookings, internal FnB & Spa reservations, etc…


Profil recherché

  • REQUIRED SKILLS The candidate must be able to understand basic financial terms and revenue management, as well as market analysis. The Events Manager is the key contact for clients and must have excellent 5* posture and business English writing. Proven Sales abilities are expected. Excellent French and English oral and written communication skills and advanced computer skills are essential in order to fulfill the demands of the job description. The Wedding & Events Manager will ideally have either a hospitality-related qualification and/or background, or an Events Planning, Business school background. Fluency in additional languages and/or knowledge of graphic design would be advantageous. Must demonstrate good working knowledge of the softwares used in the Wedding & Events Department including Opera The Events Manager must be very organized and independent, capable of taking decisions proactively.
